Also, take an excursion to Mawlynnong that is the cleanest village in Asia to see the legendary Living Root Bridge. You also get to take a jeep safari and an elephant ride in the Kaziranga National Park that is home to the vibrant flora and fauna. So pack your bags and visit Meghalaya and Assam to get that much-needed breather.

Package Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival/Guwahati - Shillong (130 Kms / 4 hrs drive)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, board the designated vehicle and then drive to Shillong. En-route, witness the Umiam Lake that is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya and sits amid the Sylvan Hills. If time permits, visit the Mary Help of Christians Cathedral along with Ward's Lake. The evening is at leisure so you can explore the areas in the vicinity by yourself. You may take a walk to the famous Police Bazaar for shopping (optional). Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 - Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 KMs / 2 hrs One way)

After a tasty breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, which happens to be one of the dampest places on Earth. En-route, visit the gushing Elephant Falls. Also, visit the Duwan Sing Syiem View Point to take in the mesmeric views of the ecological park. Upon arrival in Cherrapunjee, witness the gorgeous Nohsngithiang Falls, also known as the Seven Sister Falls along with the Nohkalikai Falls. Later, take a walk inside the Mawsmai Cave that is made of limestone and visit the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama. Drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Excursion to Mawlynnong - (100 kms/ 3 hrs/ one way)

After a yummy breakfast, head out on a day's excursion to Mawlynnong which is the cleanest village in Asia. When here, climb the 80 ft Sky Walk that gives you a bird's eye view of the entire village along with the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Later, also trek to the Rewai Village that is home to the living-root bridge. The bridges are massive thick roots that are intertwined to form a bridge that can hold several people together. Also drive down to Dawki, which is a beautiful town enveloped by the mighty Jaintia Hills in the west. When here, visit the Umngot River that holds crystal clear waters! Enjoy a country boat river ride and then later, drive up to the Bangladesh Border. Head back to Shillong for an overnight stay. Please Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mwallynong.

Day 4 - Shillong - Kaziranga (325 kms / 7 hrs )

After a tummy-filled breakfast, check-out and proceed to the Kaziranga National Park which is UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in Assam. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5 - Sightseeing

Today, wake up early in the morning (5:30/6:30/7:30 am) and then proceed for an Elephant Ride. (Pls note - the elephant ride is subject to the time allowed by the forest department). Return to the hotel for a lip-smacking breakfast and then proceed for a Jeep Safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora . Later enjoy the scenery of the local village and take in the outer view of the green tea gardens. Overnight stay in Kaziranga. Please Note - In the afternoon, you may take an optional tour of the Jeep Safari, but that comes with an additional cost.

Day 6 - Departure/Kaziranga - Guwahati (250km/ 5 Hrs)

Savour a hearty breakfast and then drive to Guwahati. Guwahati is the commercial capital of North East and is situated next to the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra. In the afternoon, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple. Later, get dropped to the port of your departure.

Airfare component if added in the package given to you is subject to seat availability & price can change at the time of confirmation.
In case of non availability of rooms in selected hotels, a similar category hotel will be provided.
Confirmation depends on room availability and upon your placing of booking to us. Always check suggested hotel reviews online before confirming the booking with us.
Credit card payments are subject to 2 to 3% extra bank charges depending on card type.
No change in itinerary once confirmed will be honored unless otherwise given in writing.
Alternative Hotel/Room will be given; if the above quoted hotel/room type is not available, every effort will be made to ensure rate quoted remain same upon confirmation, however, surcharge is unavoidable should higher room category / different category of hotel is given, due to quoted hotel/room type being fully booked.
Extension of stay would be subject to availability and on pro-rata basis and as of best rate of the day existing at that time of booking.
In some hotels, caution deposit may be charged at the time of check-in which will be refunded at the time of check-out and it has to be borne by the traveler.
Breakfast in the respective hotel to be given by Hotel’s standard timings only.
Vehicle quoted on private will not be at disposal but will perform its respective duties as per the itinerary only. ( Point to point )
In case of tours quoted with sightseeing places, the cost does not cover monument entrÃ©e fees, photography charges and others if any.
No refund for partly unutilized tickets. No refund for "NO – SHOWS" & last moment cancellations (7 days prior to trip start date). For cancellations done prior to 7 days, refund amount will vary depending on the destination & type of package booked and is solely at the discretion of Ezi Holiday.
All tours are subjected to local weather/Social condition and there is no refund for the un-used/cancelled tours.
For Flight ticket cancellation, charges will be applicable as per the terms & conditions of the respective airlines. Ezi Holiday may also charge a processing fee of Rs. 250 to 1000 in addition to the airline cancellation charges.
